Hey look, here I am again!

So, because it's 3weeks4dreamwidth time, I thought I'd do something fun and that I've really missed doing. Plus, it's one more reason to get me back in the swing of replying to comments and checking my reading list.

- Leave a comment and I'll pull you at least one tarot card and one oracle card.
- My two oracle decks right now are The Wild Unknown Archetypes and The Embroidered Graveyard. Let me know which you'd prefer.
- Along with your choice, go ahead and tell me something cool you've seen on DW lately. It can be a comm, a post, a comment thread. Alternately, you can tell us something you'd like to see more of!
- Everyone should look through the comments for some interesting things, or cool ideas to start putting up around here.

Why yes, this is forever late but hey, maybe an unexpected card reading is what you need.

Two tarot cards came out which happened to be the Ace and Three of Cups and along with it came the Self Love card from EG.

What stands out to me about these cards is 1) all the support that they want to give you and 2) how even in the Self-Love card, there's mention of you having enough belief in yourself to know that there are others out there who love you too. In the case of that card, it's coming from the spirits and entities you may work with, but I can see it in the Three too. I don't know if you've been needing the reminder, but there's a sense of wanting you to know that you have people in your corner who want to support you and see you go do the things you want to.

I also want to say something about celebrating yourself on your own too. You are still here, despite so many things you have gone through. Self love and celebration and compassion for yourself might seem difficult, and it can be, but you have gotten so far from where you could have ended up. You are alive and you are making things and affecting the world and people around you. This is something to celebrate and be proud of.

Hi there, this is coming forever late but I wanted to give you your reading, even if there's no story to go with it.

The cards I pulled were the Page of Swords and Surrender.
These cards feel really opposite in my brain. The Page is sharp and alert, paying attention and really trying to do a thing with his information in mind, but the Surrender card seems to be telling them that's not the way to be. I'm wondering if you're focusing your energy and brainpower in the wrong place right now. Is there something that's taking up a lot of your thought process that you can't quite let go of? It might be time to set that down and let it do what it's going to do.

I'm not saying abandon it. You can always keep an eye out and still do things, but maybe give fate a chance to have a little influence while you focus on other things. You might feel like something needs all your attention, but maybe it really doesn't, and you can let yourself think of other things for a while.

moodthemeinayear is a community dedicated to creating custom mood themes over the course of a year. I've been having a whole lot of fun with it! I think it'd be neat if some new people joined and started now, but I get that it can feel a little weird to join when it's not right at the beginning of a thing.

queerly_beloved is a community about being queer and friendly and supporting each other and stuff. Just, a general inclusive queer community for Dreamwidth. I host weekly rec threads, but there isn't much activity besides that—though I'd love for there to be!

kittens_and_spitefic is all about insincere trolling. Person A makes a post where they pretend they hate something they love, then persons B through infinity "troll" OP with cat macros/lolcats, fanart, recs, fanfic snippets, etc. I put up a 3w4dw post right here. I'd be beyond delighted if there was more activity there.

Finally, I'm running summerofthe69 for its second year! There's a poll up right now to decide this year's themes. After a stronger start than I expected last year, I'm really hoping that the comm will be able to have another good showing this year.
